Guide

Find a practical AI workflow for your role, including the input, review step and a measurable pilot.

Choose an observable outcome

A good first AI use case produces something you can inspect: a draft, classification or summary with source material beside it. Avoid a pilot where success depends on whether the output merely sounds convincing. Specify what an unacceptable error looks like before testing.

Keep the review step visible

Automating a draft is different from authorizing an external action. During the pilot, keep a named person responsible for sending messages, changing records or committing money. Measure their review time alongside the time saved by generation.

Compare against a simple baseline

Try a checklist, template or ordinary automation before assuming a language model is necessary. The model earns its place when it handles meaningful variation better than a simpler method. Keep the baseline result so you can compare accuracy, cost and maintenance.
